Apple Worm Level 20 Walkthrough

Apple Worm Level 20 is an alignment-and-control level: you “step” onto the upper-right dirt using the apple, trigger a controlled stone drop, then use a natural fall to wedge the stone so it won’t drop into the dirt pit. The second half is a multi-stone setup where you briefly stack stones and use your body position to hold the upper stone while sliding the lower one. If you keep matching the key frames at the critical checkpoints, the final pit drop and climb-out becomes straightforward.

    Quick Navigation (Video ↔ Steps)

For Apple Worm Level 20, treat Step 4 and Step 12 as your “must-match” checkpoints. Step 4 is the first key alignment: you must line up with the upper dirt edge, go up, then go right to eat the apple exactly as shown. Step 12 is the second key control: you slide the lower stone two steps left while also holding the upper stone in place.

When you watch the video, pause at Step 2 (after the apple step-up), Step 6 (after the natural fall and stone wedge), Step 12 (after the two-left slide while holding the upper stone), and Step 16 (final pit drop + climb out). If your screen looks different at a pause point, back up one step and rebuild the exact same position before continuing.

    Step-by-Step Guide

Follow the quick steps for the route, then use the key frames to verify each drop and the final stack before you continue.

    Quick Steps

    1. Adjust your posture and move left to the end of the dirt block.
    2. Move up to the top, move right one step, then use the apple to step onto the upper-right dirt block.
    3. Move to the right side of the stone block, then push it left one step so it drops above the apple.
    4. Use the stone to move onto the lower dirt block. Move right until you are aligned with the edge of the upper dirt block, then move up and right to eat the apple (key checkpoint).
    5. Move right one step, then move up one step (key checkpoint).
    6. Let the worm naturally drop and wedge against the stone so it does not fall into the dirt pit below.
    7. Push the stone right one step so it lands on the dirt edge. Pass over the stone, move right to the upper dirt’s right edge, then move up one step and left one step.
    8. Move to the left side of the stone block.
    9. Push the stone until it is aligned with the upper dirt’s right edge, then use it to climb up to the top.
    10. Move to the left side of the stone block again.
    11. Push the stone right one step so it drops and stacks with the lower stone. Move right two steps and down two steps, getting “stuck” against the stone as shown.
    12. Slide the lower stone left two steps while holding the upper stone in place at the same time (key checkpoint).
    13. Push the upper stone right one step so it lands on the dirt’s right edge. Move up one step, right one step, then down one step (match the frame).
    14. Move down onto the lower dirt block, then push the stone right one step into the dirt pit.
    15. Move above the right stone block, then move left.
    16. Move to the left side of the left stone, push it right to the end so it drops into the dirt pit, then climb up using the stone to clear the level.

Level 20 Gameplan (Apple Step → Stone Drop → Wedge → Two-Stone Control → Pit Escape)

This Apple Worm Level 20 walkthrough has two parts, and each part has a “position lock” that you should treat as non-negotiable.

In the first part (Steps 1–6), your goal is to reach the upper-right dirt using the apple (Step 2), trigger a stone drop (Step 3), then eat the apple from a specific alignment (Step 4) and follow it with the small move pair in Step 5. Those two key moves set up Step 6, where you let the worm naturally drop and wedge against the stone so it can’t fall into the lower dirt pit.

In the second part (Steps 7–16), you turn that stable situation into a climb-out by placing stones on edges and controlling two stones as a pair. Step 11 creates a stack by dropping one stone onto another, Step 12 is the precision move where you slide the lower stone left while keeping the upper stone from falling, and Steps 13–16 are about placing stones onto the dirt edge and then dropping them into the pit at the right time so you can climb up and finish.

The Critical Move in Level 20 (Step 12)

Step 12 is the key control: “Slide the lower stone left two steps while holding the upper stone in place.” If the upper stone slips while you move the lower one, the edge placement in Step 13 won’t match the key frame. Treat Step 12 as a hard checkpoint: if it doesn’t match, reset to Step 11 and rebuild the wedge/stuck position before trying again.

    Why the Order Works

    • Step 2 uses the apple as a step so you can reach the upper-right dirt without extra detours.
    • Step 3 triggers the first drop from the correct side (right side → one left push).
    • Step 4 is an alignment move: you only go up/right to eat the apple after you are edge-aligned with the upper dirt.
    • Step 6 relies on a natural drop and your position to wedge the stone so it can’t fall into the pit.
    • Step 11 creates a temporary stack so you can treat two stones as a controlled pair.
    • Step 12 adjusts the lower stone while the upper stone is held in place, so Step 13 edge placement is possible.
    • Steps 14–16 place stones into the pit and turn them into a climb-out route.

Common Level 20 Mistakes (and Fast Fixes)

    • Step 2 doesn’t put you on the upper-right dirt: make sure you do “up to the end → right one” before using the apple as the step.
    • Step 4 misses the apple: don’t go up/right early; first align with the upper dirt edge, then go up and right exactly as shown.
    • Step 6 drops the stone into the pit: redo Step 5, then let the natural drop happen while staying wedged against the stone.
    • Step 11 doesn’t create a clean stack: redo the one-step right push and wait for the drop/stack to fully settle before moving.
    • Step 12 breaks the setup: if the upper stone slips, return to the Step 11 “stuck” frame and retry the two-left slide.
    • Step 13 won’t match the edge placement: confirm Step 12 first, then do the one-step push on the upper stone and match the up/right/down micro-moves.

    Reset Checkpoints (Save Time)

    • After Step 4: if you didn’t eat the apple from the edge-aligned position, reset to Step 3 and redo the alignment.
    • After Step 6: treat the wedge as your first major checkpoint; if the stone fell into the pit, rebuild Steps 4–6.
    • After Step 12: treat the two-left slide as the last major “precision” checkpoint; if it breaks, reset to Step 11 and rebuild the stuck position.

    Troubleshooting (Stuck?)

    • I can’t reach the upper-right dirt (Step 2): redo the sequence as “up to the end → right one → use the apple as the step.”
    • I can’t reproduce the apple pickup (Step 4): align with the upper dirt edge first, then do “up → right” to eat the apple.
    • I keep losing the wedge (Step 6): redo Step 5 and let the natural drop happen while you stay pressed against the stone.
    • My stack collapses (Step 11): wait for the stone to fully settle after the one-step push before doing the “right two, down two” positioning.
    • The two-left slide fails (Step 12): start from the Step 11 stuck position and slide the lower stone left exactly two steps while holding the upper one.
    • The edge placement looks wrong (Step 13): don’t continue—rebuild Step 12, then redo the one-step upper-stone push and the up/right/down moves.
